Sheli Fulcher Koontz earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Idaho in 2001, after obtaining degrees in molecular biology and forensic sciences from Northwest Nazarene College and Marquette University. Her initial practice years involved plaintiff personal injury work in the Boise area. Prior to joining Angstman Johnson, Sheli owned and operated her own law firm for the last 10 years in Boise, Idaho. She handles cases in a variety of areas, including personal injury, family law, workers compensation, family law mediation, and co-parenting coaching. Sheli’s mission is to take the guesswork out of navigating the legal system maze and provide concierge-style legal services that her clients need to enjoy long-term stability and success for themselves and their families.
Sheli has been a member of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) since her law school days. She served on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and as ITLA President for 2015-16. She has been a long-time member of the Junior League of Boise, serving in many leadership roles while promoting volunteerism and programs benefitting women and children. Sheli currently serves on the Board of Directors for Life’s Kitchen, which provides culinary and life skills training to young people facing barriers to success. She is also a Cub Scout Leader for Pack 100 at Cathedral of the Rockies. She is also a member of the Unstoppable Influence Movement, which inspires and empowers entrepreneurs to level up their sphere of influence in the world; and enjoys spending time and energy with her High Vibe Tribe.
When she’s not working or volunteering, Sheli is either snow skiing, paddle boarding, or hiking into a back-country mountain lake with her family.
